Do you have information on businesses beyond Brooklyn? |
 |
Wherever a business is located, the Business Library is an excellent source of information.
Of course, we pay special attention to Brooklyn and the New York City metropolitan area. We also have numerous resources for businesses in New York State as well as nationally and even internationally.
Several of the Library's e-resources provide basic information on millions of companies. Some of these e-resources are available only at the Business Library--they're not accessible from your home or work computer.
We offer an array of directories that provide information (at least the address and telephone number, and sometimes much more) for contacting manufacturers, service providers, suppliers, distributors, government agencies and trade associations.
The Brooklyn Public Library Catalog is the best way to verify the Business Library's physical holdings in information on a geographical area or industry.
The Industry Research section is a great introduction to how you can put these resources to work for you.
We encourage you to contact us if you don't find what you're looking for.
